This is a place to collate my published writing, and ponder on other things that interest me that don’t get published.
I started my career on national newspapers. Then I spent a few years studying social sciences and working in mental health services. For some years I’ve been battling a chronic illness. Happily I’m a lot better now, but I occasionally relapse.
Now I work on a freelance basis. I usually write about faith these days, as I became a Christian in my 20s. Here’s a short version of my story .
I also write about books, films, current affairs, health, simple living, music, politics, culture, and so on.
Please engage and interact – I love to hear your reactions.
Some of my published work:
I rescue children from brothels (Christianity magazine)
They’re explosive, deadly and you sell them like soap powder (The Independent on Sunday)
On the campaign trail with UKIP in Newark (Spectator Blogs)
The heartbreak of atheism (Christian Today)
Thank you. I have one of your articles posted on http://www.straightchristianity.com with links back to your blog. Keep inspiring us all..thank you. I only check my stuff once or twice a week…I live in mountains [Yosemite Cal] and have to drive to town to use computer. – eric

Great article on ‘cancel culture’ in Premier Christianity that articulates the issues well. Keep up the good work!
